Susan Godwin
Susan resides in New York City, where she works as an actor in films and TV series, such as "All My Children", "Ugly Betty", "Lipstick Jungle" and previously "Analyze That", "Sex & the City" and "The Sopranos". Susan has also worked as a stand-in for Bernadette Peters, on "Law and Order". Susan has a BA in Theater Arts from Plymouth State University, which includes a minor in Psychology and a semester studying in Arundel, England. Susan also attended Dean College, with a major in Music/Theatre/Dance. She continues her studies in NYC, at Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Broadway Dance Center and at the Luigi Jazz Centre. Susan has also studied acting and voice with the Tony Award winning performer, Betty Buckley, at T. Schreiber Studios. Susan started her dance career with ballet lessons at the age of five. Years later, decided to try jazz class and started class at Kathy Blake Dance Studios, in NH. Before moving to New York, Susan worked at Universal Studios Florida, performing as a character dancer in the "Rocky and Bullwinkle Show", "American Tail Show" and many others. As a dancer, Susan has also performed on the Norwegian Cruise Line, promoting Universal Studios. At Nickelodeon Studios, Susan performed various roles and was thrilled to be invited to help terminally ill children smile, through the "Give Kids the World" program. Susan is a member of Actors Equity Association, AFTRA (American Federation of Radio and Television Artists), and Screen Actors Guild.
She has earned regional theater credits, which include roles in "Anything Goes", "Crazy for You", "Singin' in the Rain", "My Fair Lady" and "Gypsy", among others. When not performing, Susan enjoys working as a Celebrity Personal Assistant. Susan gets the most joy out of life by spending time with her maltese/yorkie mix puppy, Tasha.
