Kelly Wanlass
Kelly Wanlass is a Senior Public Relations Consultant with more than thirteen years of proven success getting immediate results for clients in their respective markets, including dance and dance wear, as well as in various segments of the high-tech industry. Kelly started her career as a writer for The Associated Press, giving her a unique and valuable understanding of what journalists are looking for in a story. As an independent consultant for the past nine years with two daughters serious about dance, Kelly recently added several clients in the dance world to her repertoire, including:
- The Dance Club, a 30-year old Utah-based studio that has trained many national championship dancers, including the 2008 Teen Outstanding Dancer and the 2008 Mini Outstanding Runner-up at NYCDA Nationals.
- Jo&Jax, a New York City-based dance and clothing wear line for women "on the move" started by two sisters and former Rockettes, Joey Dowling and Jacki Ford.
- The Barlow Arts Conservatory, Utah's premier ballet and acting studio
For these dance clients, Kelly has placed stories in national publications such as Movmnt Magazine, Dancer Magazine, Dance Spirit and Dance Magazine, as well as in all three local Utah newspapers. She'll also lend her expertise as a regular contributor to DanceStudioOwner.com, providing insight and real-world experiences on how dance studios can promote their stories locally and nationally. Kelly has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Brigham Young University. To Contact Kelly: Kelly Wanlass, Senior PR Consultant
