DANCESTUDIOOWNER.COM TEAMS WITH DANCESTOGO TO PROVIDE EASY-TO-USE CHOREOGRAPHY FOR STUDIOS, SCHOOLS

Studio Owners Receive One Free Routine Each Month, Others at $2.99

STRATHAM, New Hampshire--October 29, 2009--DanceStudioOwner.com, a collaborative online community and resource for studio owners, today announced that it is teaming with DancestoGo to provide dance studios and elementary schools with easy-to-use and age-appropriate choreography. Under the agreement, DanceStudioOwner.com members will receive one free performance routine each month, with the first one being the "Duster Dance," choreographed to the Nutcracker's The Russian Dance from The Classical Child at the Ballet. Other routines can be purchased directly from http://www.DancesToGo.com for $2.99.

"Dance teachers for beginning students or elementary teachers wanting to start dance or creative movement programs at their schools often struggle to create fun and creative choreography for their students," said Suzanne Gerety, co-founder of DanceStudioOwner.com. "With the choreography produced by the professional dancers at DancesToGo.com, these teachers get inexpensive, ready-made and fun routines that they can use for recitals or just for every day dance classes."

DancesToGo.com is a collaboration of award-winning choreographers and talented performers with decades of experience in dance, music, drama and television. The company offers dance routines and dramatic work activities in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and tap for dance studios as well as elementary and pre-school teachers.

"The routines are very cute and usable," said Liz Calabria, the performing arts assistant director for the Kathy Blake Dance Studios in Amherst, New Hampshire. "I found a few of the songs, including 'Swan Fairy' for pre-ballet and 'Rock Star' for beginning jazz classes, and was able to read and follow the routines based on the choreography notes, which even told the time of the song next to the each count of choreography. They really are teacher and dancer friendly."

According to DancesToGo.com co-founder and choreographer Frances Hellens McDonald, dance teachers and school teachers can use the Duster Dance, Sugar Plum Teddy Bear, the Swan Fairy and other basic ballet routines to produce a tiny tot or pre-ballet Christmas nutcracker production. "The age-appropriate music and choreography will show dance teachers that even the tiniest dancer can learn and enjoy a classical ballet routine with movement - and even an inexperienced teacher can teach it. It's easy and fun for all."
