Jessica Scheitler

Jessica Scheitler owns and operates Financial Groove in New York and Las Vegas, which bridges the gap between creativity and business. As a graduate with honors from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, Jessica has parlayed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Choreography and minors in Arts Administration and Mathematics into a specialized career in arts accounting and business management. Jessica grew up dancing in Iowa with roots in competitive dance and then went on to dance in concert dance, choreograph musical theater and independent modern dance work. Jessica has worked in arts administration for the Lion King on Broadway and Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater among many other arts organizations.

Jessica officially launched Financial Groove in 2007 with the decision to hone service offerings to the music, arts, and entertainment industry. Operating out of New York City and Las Vegas, Jessica has found the financial and business end of things often hold artists back from fully prospering in their art. The main focus is to give artists a business foundation so they can freely work on their craft and advance their business and careers with confidence that their financial and tax situations is being managed properly.

Jessica is an Enrolled Agent and an authorized Electronic Return Originator before the IRS, a Notary Public, and a Quickbooks ProAdvisor. She is on the board of Cockroach Theatre and a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents. Enrolled Agents are the only taxpayer representatives who receive their right to practice from the U.S. government, empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to advise, prepare tax returns, and represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the IRS for audits, collections, and appeals.

Financial Groove's primary goal is to operate a company dedicated to artistic integrity by offering vital support to the artists who produce it. Jessica believes that by staying true to yourself, your goals, and your passions, short-term sacrifices will lead to long-term success. Financial Groove currently works with artists and performers, dance studios and companies and production companies throughout the United States.
